What You’ll Do:

As a Warehouse and Purchasing Officer, you’ll be a key player in our parts process, collaborating with a dynamic and skilled team. The primary objective of the Warehouse Officer is to oversee and manage all aspects of goods inbound and outbound within Shermac’s warehouse facility. 

This role involves also ensuring consistent, efficient operations in the warehouse by maintaining goods in their designated locations in a tidy manner and ensuring that correct stock levels are consistently maintained.

  • Full Time + O/T opportunities.
  • $70k – 85k + penalty rates – pending experience.
  • Monday – Friday.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks:

  • Ordering of stocked inventory items for both Perth and Dalwallinu branches.
  • Checking goods inwards for accuracy fulfillment.
  • Maintaining a clear goods in bench COB.
  • Recording backorders as required.
  • Maintaining the purchase order status board. 
  • Maintain Perth stock levels via ordering from kanban system.
  • Occasional receipting in purchase orders as required.
  • Organizing daily order pickups or drop offs.
  • Picking up orders and delivering orders in the Perth metro area as required.
  • Maintaining a tidy work area.

What You’ll Need:

  • Sound working knowledge of Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Teams.
  • Smartsheet knowledge an advantage.
  • Solution minded.
  • Mobile phone with WhatsApp.
  • Computer literate.
  • Warehouse experience required.
  • Stock control experience preferred. 
  • Forklift license.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to work alone or in a team enviroment.
  • Willing to work extra hours if required.
