Welder/Fabricator

We are currently seeking qualified and skilled Fabricator/Welders to join our team. If you’re a motivated individual and believe you possess the attributes to fulfill this position, then we’d be excited to hear from you.

Job tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Welding of aluminium and steel components under supervision.
• Preparing materials (cutting, drilling, linishing, bending) for fabrication.
• Utilising workshop equipment (Bandsaw, drill press, linisher) and power/ hand tools (grinders, circular saws, drills) for the fabrication of trucks and water carts.
• Keep the workshop and work areas clean & tidy.
• Assembling water carts and service trailers.
• Produce high quality work.

Essential Criteria

• Able to work under supervision and as part of a team.
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings.
• Attention to detail and the pursuit of high-quality workmanship.
• Willingness to learn and further your skills.
• Flexibility with hours.
• Will need to undergo weld test before start.

Desirable Criteria

• Experience with hand tools & power tools.
• Experience in the processing of aluminium extrusions.
• Physically fit.
• Hold a Forklift License and Riggers & Doggers certification.
• Interest in a long-term position within the business.
