Shermac is growing — and we’re looking for a motivated, solutions-focused Production Coordinator to join our team.

Join a fast‑growing manufacturing business in a role where you’ll make a real impact. Working closely with the Chief Operating Officer, you’ll support production operations and help elevate performance across the organisation. In your first year, you’ll play a central role in delivering our ERP implementation and setting the foundation for future growth.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Manage and optimise ERP administration to ensure the system delivers strong operational outcomes.
  • Participate in production meetings and manage follow‑up actions, including agendas, minutes, reporting and task tracking.
  • Production scheduling support – maintain rolling 4‑week and 12‑week schedules, publish daily worklists, and coordinate capacity.
  • Production order and work order administration – create, validate, and release production orders in Business Central within agreed Service Level Agreement.
  • Drive ERP transaction discipline by ensuring production-related transactions are completed accurately and on time, while reducing reliance on offline spreadsheets and informal workarounds.
  • Job status and progress updates – update job status in ERP at defined milestones and publish a daily status dashboard.
  • Accurate production data – reconcile planned vs actual.
  • Support and take a leading role in manufacturing-related Business Central testing, training, go-live, and hypercare activities, including UAT preparation, user support, process documentation, and issue follow-up.
  • Become the production ERP super user, maintaining process documentation, supporting continuous improvement, and acting as the first point of contact for production-related ERP questions.

Your Experience & Skills:

  • 2–3 years’ experience in a production coordination role, manufacturing administration or ERP operations – Business Central experience preferred.
  • Intermediate Excel skills, familiarity with ERP transactions and reporting tools.
  • Scheduling, order administration and production reporting experience.
  • Detail orientated, process driven, strong communicator and comfort escalating issues.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritise competing tasks.
  • Develop and lead training sessions.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Australian work rights are required for this position.
