 What You’ll Do:

Shermac’s ICT Project Specialist is responsible for managing information and communication technology across all operating locations.

This role provides internal ownership of ICT systems, business applications, cybersecurity controls, Microsoft 365 administration, user support coordination, IT asset management and technology governance.

Key Responsibilities:

ERP Implementation Support – Act as the internal ICT and systems contact for the Business Central implementation.

Business Central System Administration – Administer Business Central user accounts, permissions, roles, and access controls.

ICT Systems Administration – Coordinate day-to-day ICT support for users across Bayswater, Dalwallinu, and other Shermac locations.

Cybersecurity and Risk Management – Maintain appropriate cybersecurity controls across devices, networks, systems, and users.

Business Systems Improvement – Identify opportunities to reduce manual work, duplicate entry, and poor system usage.

BAU – Provide Technical Support, System and Network Maintenance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or extensive demonstrated experience in a similar role.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and software applications, in particular Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or other comparable AIP systems.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users in addition to presenting complex concepts to the management team for approval clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment, adapting to changing priorities and technologies.
  • Problem Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve technical challenges effectively.
