Mechanical Fitter

We are currently seeking a qualified and skilled Mechanical fitter to join our team.
The successful applicant will need to have a qualified trade certificate as well as experience with product assembly.

Tasks will include:

Assist in the final assembly of products.
Fitting of PTO’s and other mechanical components to vehicles.
Fitting pumps and hose reels etc.
Making and connecting pipes and hosing.
Testing finished products.
Diagnosing faults when testing.
Rectifying teething issues on-site.

Essential Criteria

General mechanical experience.
Certificate 3 in engineering is desirable.
Produce high quality work to company standard.
Good hand-eye coordination.
Willingness to work independently as well as in a group.

Desirable Criteria

Experience with hand tools & power tools.
Physically fit.
Hold a Forklift License and Riggers & Doggers certification.
Interest in a long-term position within the business.
