What You’ll Do:
As a Painter, you’ll be a key player in our assembly process, collaborating with a dynamic and skilled team. Your mission: to prime and paint top-of-the-line service vehicles and watercarts, plus a range of other Shermac products. Your craftsmanship will ensure that every component and material is expertly assembled, resulting in superior products that consistently exceed our standards and customer expectations.
- Full Time + O/T opportunities.
- $35 – $40 p/hr + penalty rates – pending experience.
- Monday – Friday.
- Contribute to the smooth operation of our facility and explore genuine career development options.

Key Responsibilities:
- Mix paint to correct consistency.
- Follow standard blasting techniques.
- Apply paint and blast modules to meet quality standards.
- Perform body filling and repair work as needed.
- Mask bodies for painting and blasting.
- Maintain a clean, organized and hazard-free workshop.
- Support safety protocols and promote a culture of safety.
- Stock control using Kanban system.
- Assist in quality control – collaborate with Team Leaders to perform inspections and checks on finished products.
- Due to the nature of the work, you may work shifts between 6am and 6pm.

What You’ll Need:
Proven experience in a similar position within manufacturing.
Current forklift license.
Excellent attention to detail.
Working at Heights ticket.
Minimum ‘C’ Class Driver’s License
