What You’ll Do:

As a Warehouse Officer, you’ll be a key player in our parts process, collaborating with a dynamic and skilled team. The primary objective of the Warehouse Officer is to oversee and manage all aspects of goods inbound and outbound within Shermac’s warehouse facility. 

This role involves also ensuring consistent, efficient operations in the warehouse by maintaining goods in their designated locations in a tidy manner and ensuring that correct stock levels are consistently maintained.
 

  • Full Time + O/T opportunities.
  • $30 – $40 per hour + penalty rates – pending experience.
  • Monday – Thursday + Optional Friday.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks:

  • Assist with freight deliveries. (Mon, Tues & Thurs)
  • Deliver parts to the assembly sheds when requested by team leaders.
  • Stock-take and replenish parts as required in the assembly sheds.
  • Assist packing job crate’s when required.
  • Any adhoc duties requested by the warehouse coordinator & manager.

What You’ll Need:

  • Sound working knowledge of Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Teams.
  • Smartsheet knowledge an advantage.
  • Solution minded.
  • Mobile phone with WhatsApp.
  • Computer literate.
  • Warehouse experience required.
  • Stock control experience preferred. 
  • Forklift license.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to work alone or in a team enviroment.
  • Willing to work extra hours if required.
