Engineered off-road dust suppression for high-production mining environments

Shermac’s Roadserve 4000 and 5000 Series off-road water carts are purpose-built for reliable dust suppression across high-production mining operations. Designed and manufactured in Australia, each unit is built to operate in harsh, remote environments where stability, durability and consistent water delivery are critical to site performance.

Every water tank is engineered to optimise weight distribution across the selected chassis while maintaining a low centre of gravity. Heavy-gauge steel construction, internal baffling and protective coating systems support structural integrity under full-load conditions. External hot-dip galvanised pipework eliminates internal corrosion risk and allows straightforward service access.

Roadserve off-road water carts are available on articulated and rigid truck platforms to suit varying production requirements. From manoeuvrable articulated units for flexible site coverage to high-capacity rigid platforms for sustained haul road suppression, each build is configured to match your equipment class, site standards and operational demand.

The benefits that keep your fleet moving

Mine-spec compliance as standard

Mine-spec compliance as standard

All Shermac Roadserve water carts are engineered to meet strict mine-site requirements. Access systems, lighting, braking integration and in-cab controls are configured to align with site compliance standards.

Heavy-gauge steel tank construction

Engineered tank construction for structural integrity

Heavy-gauge steel tanks are constructed using 10mm floor plates and 8mm wall and baffle plates. Transverse and longitudinal baffling improve stability under load, reduce surge and support safer operation across uneven terrain.

Optimised weight distribution for articulated platforms

Optimised weight distribution and low centre of gravity

Each water cart is engineered to balance axle loads when full, maintaining predictable handling and braking performance. The low centre of gravity design improves stability on ramps, haul roads and rough ground.

High-flow diesel systems

Hydraulic centrifugal pump performance

Hydraulic-powered centrifugal pumps deliver reliable, high-volume water output suited to continuous dust suppression. Self-filling configurations allow water to be drawn from dams or static sources where required.

Optimised axle load distribution under full payload

Advanced spray system configurations

Horizontal fan sprays, adjustable batter sprays, dribble bars and water cannons can be configured to suit haul road suppression and targeted dust control. All spray functions are controlled from an in-cab control panel for safe, efficient operation.

Hot-dip galvanised external pipework

Hot-dip galvanised external pipework

All pipework is hot-dip galvanised and mounted externally to the tank. This eliminates internal corrosion risk and provides clear service access for inspection and maintenance.

All tanks are grit blasted, epoxy lined internally and finished with a two-pack external coating. Optional corrosion protection and heavy-duty componentry improve durability in high-heat, dust-heavy or abrasive environments.

Built for harsh Australian conditions

Roadserve water carts are engineered to perform in extreme heat, abrasive dust and remote operating environments. Structural design, component selection and protective coating systems are specified to withstand continuous off-road operation while maintaining long-term durability and predictable performance.

Secure storage and equipment protection

Corrosion protection and protective coatings

Tanks are fully grit blasted prior to coating and lined internally with a two-pack epoxy water tank lining system. External surfaces are finished with a durable two-pack paint system to match the chassis.
